Location

The hotel is located in the suburbs of Rethymnon, 4km outside of the town, in a relatively quiet, yet lively area near the village of Platanes. The local bus service, along with the taxis provide a comfortable, easy access to the town.

The airport of Heraklion is 75 km away from the hotel, while the Chania’s one 60km, thus it being an easily accessible destination from both of them.

The beach happens to be on a distance of 400m from the hotel, with a small 400m path providing easy and comfortable access to it. It is a part of the large coastline of Rethymnon, with ready for use umbrellas and sunbeds, plus water sports and beach bars always accessible. It also makes for an excellent place to have some peaceful walks, especially by afternoon.

Being in the mid of the island’s north coast, the hotel’s positioning makes it quite a practical place to stay for anyone interested in exploring the island, with a leased car or excursions alike, due to its even distances to all of the interesting sightseeings, such as the ruins of the Minoan civilization’s palace in Heraklion, the pinky coloured plages of the far-west side, such as Elafonissi and Gramvoussa, or the well-known to hikers for its typical Cretan form, Gorge of Samaria.
